Tell us about access before booking

Knowing that a car does not run is only part of planning its removal. The space around it, the slope and the condition of its wheels also matter. Share these details while you request your quote so the pickup can be assessed before a truck is sent.

Where is it parked?

Tell us whether it is on a driveway, roadside, in a garage, in a car park or behind a gate. Mention steep access, low clearance, narrow turns and nearby obstacles.

Can it move?

Let us know if the wheels turn, the steering works and the vehicle can roll. Missing wheels, seized brakes, a locked transmission or missing keys need discussion in advance.

Who can provide access?

Arrange access to the parking area and tell us if a building manager or another person needs to open a gate. Confirm who will be present for the handover.

How collection is arranged

  1. Send your vehicle details, pickup suburb and a description of the parking location.
  2. Discuss and accept the vehicle offer, including the collection arrangements.
  3. Agree a pickup time with the team. Same-day availability depends on scheduling and access.
  4. Have the agreed documents and vehicle keys ready, if available.

Do not assume a basement, restricted car park or inaccessible vehicle can be collected without assessment. If anything changes after booking, call us before the pickup.

Your preparation checklist

  • Remove personal belongings from the cabin, boot, glovebox and storage compartments.
  • Check for toll tags, parking permits, chargers and personal documents.
  • Have information about ownership ready and ask the team which documents are needed for your situation.
  • Remove obstacles from the agreed access route where safe.
  • Tell us if keys are missing, the battery is flat or the vehicle cannot be put into neutral.
  • Discuss plates and any registration steps with the team before handover.

Leave unsafe vehicles in place. Do not attempt to tow, push, dismantle or start a damaged car simply to prepare it for us.

Non-running cars and difficult locations

A non-running car can still be considered for collection. The key question is how it can be accessed and loaded. Photos of the car and the route to it are useful when explaining a tight driveway or damaged wheel.

For a vehicle at a repair shop, let the shop know about the proposed collection and arrange permission to release it. Resolve any requirements with the property owner or repairer before agreeing a pickup time.

Questions before you book

Is collection free?

We offer free collection across Sydney for accepted vehicles. Confirm your location and access with us before booking.

Can you collect today?

Ask us about the current schedule. Same-day collection may be available, but the pickup time must be confirmed with the team.

What if the car has no keys or cannot roll?

Tell us before booking. We need to discuss the location and loading requirements rather than assume a standard pickup will suit.
